Let’s find out if it’s a fit

Most first conversations run about 20 minutes, and by the end we both know whether there’s a project here. If there is, we keep going. If there isn’t, you’ve spent 20 minutes and gotten an honest answer.

30 minutes. I’ll have looked at your site before we speak.

A first conversation, not a discovery process

1
I look at your current site and any public information about your company before we talk. You shouldn’t have to explain who you are from scratch.
2
We talk for 20–30 minutes. I ask what you make, who you make it for, and what’s true about your company that your current marketing isn’t saying.
3
If there’s a fit, I’ll tell you which of the three options makes sense and what it would look like. If there isn’t, I’ll say so. Neither of us wants a long, ill-fitting engagement.
4
If we agree on the scope, I send a one-page agreement and we start. No deck, no three-week proposal process.
